I love Wikipedia. To me it's the best thing since sliced bread. OK
may be I'm going a little over the top but I wanted to get your
attention.
There are a lot of critics out there about the fact that not all the
details contained in Wikipedia are accurate (and if I really needed
accuracy I'd probably go to Britannica) but it's just so easy to use and
I'm not necessarily looking for 100% accuracy most of the time. Most of
the time, I have silly things I want answers to and Wikipedia in these
instances is perfect.
Just today I wanted to know when the 12 days of Christmas starts and
what episode of the Six Million Dollar Man was Jamie Somers introduced.
Though I might find the answer in Britannica for the first question I
doubt I would have found the answer to the second question.
I'm sure a lot of people are just like me and have other silly
questions they need answers to and Wikipedia is the way to get those
answers (however if you have an assignment to do I suggest you go to
Brittanica to get those answers). Wikipedia is for every day life and I
love it!
